About the bakery

I’m excited to bring flavorful, handcrafted buns to my NYC community! After making my first cardamom bun more than five years ago, I became inspired to test out creative ways to flavor buns, mixing familiar comforts with unexpected flavors. Each bun is handcrafted and infused with layers of flavor using ingredients like fruit, herbs, and spices.

Details

This is a home bakery based in Riverdale, Bronx and not a retail space. I am registered as a home processor with the New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets and only sell products that are permissible under their regulations.

Variety boxes containing four buns will be available 2-3 times per month for pre-order with a specified weekend pick-up date, time, and location. Simply order online in advance and meet me at the pick-up location to collect your order. Locations will typically be in the Bronx and UWS. If you are interested in a special bulk order outside of the typical schedule, please contact me at info@thekneadingspace.com and I’ll accommodate you if I can!

For the moment, I am only selling buns. Each variety box comes with four unique flavors, in different shapes and styles. I infuse every component of the bun with flavor–from the dough, to the filling, to the syrup on top. I may eventually add in a special pastry or two but for now, I’m focusing on just buns.
